Timeline of Biblical History

2000 Years = BC 3968 – BC 1968

2000 Years = BC 1968 – AD 33

2000 Years = AD 33 – AD 2033

Flood in Noah’s Time – Year 1656 from the Fall of Adam. This is 2312 BC.

Birth of Abraham – Year 1948 from the Fall of Adam. This is 2020 BC.

Abraham was 99 years old when he got the promise. This is 1921 BC.

Jacob must have had Joseph when he was 91 years old. He was 130 years old when he came to Egypt.

Joseph was 39 at the time. Isaac had Jacob when he was 60 years old.

Thus, 1739 BC is when Joseph would have ascended to rulership in Egypt according to our chronology.

Secular chronology has the 14th dynasty being one of chaos and being Canaanite in origin.

They ruled from Xios, which was in the north, between the main Nile cataracts in the Delta region.

They are said to have ruled from 1805 or 1725 – 1650 BC. This fits our timeline perfectly.

It makes sense that Joseph would have arisen during their reign.

Very little is known about them, hence the supposed silence of Egypt on Joseph.

Our timeline puts Joseph’s death at 1659 BC.

The Hyksos ruled northern Egypt from 1650-1550 BC according to the secular chronology.

The rulers of the 13th Dynasty were the Hyksos. They arrived around 1650 BC.

Our time puts Joseph’s death at 1659 BC. These kings would not have “known” Joseph.

Avaris, their palace was in the north, where Goshen was, the land that the Israelites inhabited.

The Hyksos are likely those who started the persecutions.

They probably used the Israelites to help build their Capitol, Avaris, and store cities for it.

These later became the foundation for Pi-Ramesses. Pithom and Rameses according to the Bible.

Birth of Moses – 1571 BC. Born near the end of Hyksos rule. Contemporary of Ahmose I.

Moses could very well be Prince, Ahmose Sapair. This character has been connected to Osarshiph.

Exodus of Egypt was 430 Years from promise to Abraham. This is 1491 BC.

The biblical Pharoah of the Exodus was likely Thutmoses II. Thutmoses I likely who Moses confronted.

Thutmoses II – very little is known. He died young and frail. His firstborn died. So did his elder brother.

His reign was from 1492 to 1479 BC by the chronologists.

He had a half-sister, Nefrubity, who vanished. Could she have been the Pharaoh’s sister that left?

Begin building First Temple – 480 years after Exodus. This is 1011 BC.

Psusennes I is likely the Pharoah who gave his daughter to Solomon in marriage.

From the 4th year of Solomon until 609 BC is 408 years according to the chronology of Judean kings.

According to our chronology, King Rehoboam died in 958 BC. Shishak’s invasion would be in 970 BC.

Shoshenq I is likely King Shishak of Rehoboam, but not yet Pharoah. He was king under Pharoah Saimun.  Saimun’s dates are given as 986–967 BC. Shishak was probably leading the armies of Pharoah Saimun.

It is known Saimun is the first to call himself Pharoah specifically. Thus, distinguished from a king.

According to secular chronology 609 BC is when Babylon conquered Assyria.

From 609 BC back to the start of the First Temple is 408 years. This is 1017 BC. I am overlapped 6 years!

Many scholars point to a King Ahaz and King Hezekiah coregency of some years, as many as 15!

This would account for the discrepancy in its entirety.

From Babylon’s rise to Cyrus was 70 years – 539 BC. If counting from 609 BC. Could be 586 –516 BC.

Daniel’s 70 Weeks: 7 weeks (49 years), 62 weeks (434 years), 1 week (7 years).

Decree of Cyrus 538 BC to Temple built/Death of Zerubbabel? – 49 years. This is 490 BC.

434 years – 402 BC to AD 33. This makes an 88-year gap between the 7 weeks and the 62 weeks.

Return of Jesus Christ – April 9, AD 2033

There is a 1993-year gap between the 62 weeks and the 1 week.

The Early Church Fathers on Revelation

Church Fathers on Revelation   Irenaeus (AD 130 – 202) - Against Heresies written sometime between (AD 174 – 189) It is alleged by many preterists that Irenaeus, who lived between AD 130 and AD 202, is the earliest Church Father to attest that John the Apostle...

Preterism is heresy

Preterism Is Heresy There are many who call themselves Christian but nevertheless maintain a preterist worldview. This is entirely incompatible with Christian orthodoxy. Preterists themselves recognized this truth in their history, which is why you have some who call...

Why I do not debate Heretics

Why I do not debate heretics Preterists are heretics. This is beyond contestation. They deny the bodily resurrection of believers. I will not wish them well, neither will I engage in discussion with them about God’s word. I will condemn them and move on. If you think...

2 Thessalonians 2

2 Thessalonians 2 I would like to do a study of the text of 2 Thessalonians 2. I firmly believe that the Bible is NOT of private interpretation. Indeed, no text is. Authors mean what they say, and they say what they mean! How much more is this true of the Holy Spirit?...

Daniel 9-12

Daniel 9 This is a study on the prophecy of Daniel 9. Daniel 9 is one of the most contentious and argued passages in end-time eschatology. It alone lays the foundation for a belief in a final seven-year period that will bring in the end of this age, and the...

Daniel’s 70 weeks of years in history

Daniel 70 Weeks in History The 70th week of Daniel began in the first year of Cyrus. Of this, there can be no doubt, unless you throw away the Bible. Daniel was a contemporary of Cyrus, The Darius that figures in his story is likely Cyaxeres II, who was a contemporary...

John the Revelator

John the Revelator Is Revelation a prophecy about coming events, or are they events that have already occurred in history? For most of Christian history, they were thought to be events coming, whenever the end of the age actually arrived. Some argue that the book was...

The Righteous in White Linen

The Righteous in White Linen Revelation 19:5-9, 11-14 - Then a voice came from the throne, saying, “Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!” And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters...

The Second Coming and the Rapture

The Second Coming and the Rapture This is a study on the connection between the Second Coming of Christ and the Rapture. Let us start with the most controversial subject: the rapture. I honestly cannot understand why this is controversial as it is entirely...

Wrath vs. Wrath

Wrath vs. Wrath Matthew 3:7 – But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath [ὀργή] to come? This certainly seems like it’s speaking about God’s eschatological wrath,...
