Signs in the Sun and Moon
In the book, I go into detail on how I arrived at the dates of Abib 10, 2026 to Abib 10, 2033 as the final seven years of this age. After this, I then began to look at the skies around that time to see if there was anything spectacular happening that might signify that this seven-year period is indeed unique. I was astounded at what I found.
When you get to the end of this period, which would put you in Spring 2033, you immediately are struck by the fact that there is a unique event that occurs regarding the new moons that year. Below are the four new moons of that year when they rise in Israel.
- January 1, Saturday
- January 30, Sunday
- March 1, Tuesday
- March 30, Wednesday
There is no new moon in February, and January and March are bookended by new moons! These are called double new moons, where two months get two new moons in the same year. This happens about 4.5 times every century. So, it is indeed unique. And right at the end of this major celestial event, the millennium begins. The time of the bowl judgments begin with a new moon—no light on the earth from the moon. This is intriguing enough, but when you consider that the last day before we enter the millennium on our timeline is also a new moon, then it is obvious that this is more than mere coincidence. The millennium marks the end of the Antichrist’s kingdom and the beginning of Christ’s reign, and the day prior is marked by no moonlight on the earth!
Even more profound, than this sequence of new moons, is that on March 30, 2033, which is the very first day of the Millennium on our timeline, there is a total solar eclipse! So, the very last day of the Antichrist’s reign is literally marked by darkness of both the lesser light (moon) and the greater light (sun)! All of this taken together demands our attention. But there is more.
If you rewind to the beginning of the final seven years, as presented in the timeline of the book, you come to a truly unique event: the first day of the Jewish New Year corresponds exactly with the Spring Equinox! If you look on a calendar of the moon and keep with the accurate rendering of when the first day of Abib is to be calculated, you find that this occurs on the evening of Friday March 20th, 2026. This is the exact time of the Vernal Equinox in Israel! God’s calendar, as established with Moses, was based upon the Equinox, the New Moon, and the timing of the barley harvest, with the latter controlling. Thus, having the final week on God’s prophetic timeline beginning with a perfect conjunction of all three seems to be more than a mere coincidence as well.
